2026 PLAYER REGISTRATION GUIDE
CRITICAL DEADLINE: All registration steps and document uploads must be completed by Wednesday, April 7th. Failure to meet this deadline will result in ineligibility for the upcoming tournament circuit.
STEP 1: JOIN THE TEAM & LOCK YOUR SPOT
- Initiation Email: Email hawksnation7v7@gmail.com with Parent/Gaurdian Contact Information, Athlete Name, Jersey Size, Position, and Desired Number. (numbers not guaranteed)
- Season Fee: $150 can be payed in full or in installments before 4/19 deadline. Please mention cash payment in the intiation email if not using Venmo.
- Note: Contact coaches for community-funded roster spots before 4/7.
Help with Steps 2 & 3 is available. Contact Coach E if you need help with tournament registration.
STEP 2: ELITE 7v7 REGISTRATION (SPORTS THREAD)

Accept Invite: Open the email from Hawks Mafia and click the Sports Thread link.

Account: Create a new Parent + Athlete Account or log in with your existing credentials.

Athlete Profile: Enter the athlete's information, including a face photo. *Do not enter a jersey number on Sports Thread yet. We will update these at a later date.

Registration Details: Follow the prompts to sign your athlete up for the event. *For "Lodging Info" select "Did not travel." For "Hotel Lodging" select "N/A."

Payment: Pay the mandatory $15.00 Admin Fee.

Documents: Upload a clear photo of the Birth Certificate or ID.

QR Code Setup: Open the follow-up email or text message from Sports Thread and follow the steps to set up the app and your athlete’s Age Verification QR Code for game day.
STEP 3: DR7 TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION (ZORTS SPORTS)

Accept Invite: Open the email from Zorts Sports and click "Accept Invitation".

Login/Create Account: Use the same parent/guardian email address provided in Step 1.

Clubhouse: Once logged in, click "My Team" and go to the Hawks Mafia Clubhouse.

Create ZortsID: Navigate to the Eligibility Tab and update the athlete details. Click on Purchase Zorts ID. Follow the prompts to enter athlete and contact information. You will also upload a photo and pay the mandatory $12.80/yr fee.

Documents: Provide a clear photo/PDF of your Birth Certificate.

Verification: Once the "Warning" on your tab disappears, you will receive a final confirmation email from Hawks Mafia within 24 hours.

Florida Sports Physical (EL2 Form) — Dated within the last 12 months.

Required Player-Provided Gear: Athletes must bring Cleats, Mouthguard, Black Shorts/Pants, and Black Socks to every event.

Uniforms Provided: Registration includes your Game Jersey and Soft Helmet.
TEAM COMMUNICATION
All official team messages, practice updates, and game schedules will be communicated through our dedicated GroupMe chat. We request that at least one parent or guardian per player joins the group to stay fully informed of any last-minute changes or announcements throughout the season.
Catch every big play and celebration! Game highlights, athlete spotlight videos, and championship milestones will be posted regularly on our official team Instagram. Follow our journey and share the highlights with your family and friends as we represent the Gainesville community and Hawks Mafia!

Parents can submit all team payments through Venmo or cash.
